ETIRA re-elects Christian Wernhart Embatex as President

The industry's #1 European trade show Remax in Düsseldorf, Germany, attracts thousands of visitors every year. On 10 April 2008, approx. 70 delegates from 35 ETIRA member companies and prospect members met at Remax, for networking and latest info. The meeting featured Mr John Hayes (H2 Compliance), speaking on the new EU law on chemicals called REACH. ETIRA also elected a new Board of Directors and launched its new standard for toner b/w. Delegates met and did new bizz at the Cocktail, kindly sponsored by The Recycler Publishing and Events.

The general assembly, meeting on 10 April 2008 at Remax, elected the following persons as Member of the ETIRA Board of Directors 2008-2010:

The Board 2008-2010 will focus on organizing events, networking, commercial cooperation between remanufacturers, proactive promotion of the industry among the general public, standardization (ETIRA STANDARD TONER B/W, setting up of the Working Group Inkjet), patents, etc.
